The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday intensified its attack on the Cockroach Janta Party, with BJP national president Nitin Nabin calling it part of the “tukde tukde” gang.

Nabin made the remarks during a public meeting in Warangal as part of his Telangana visit. His statement comes amid the CJP’s ongoing protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over the NEET UG paper leak controversy.

Addressing the gathering, Nabin alleged that groups like the CJP were working against the interests of the country. He described such parties as “virus and cockroach-like” forces that wanted to weaken the nation from within.

He said such groups were trying to divide the country and added that the BJP would “teach them a lesson.” Nabin also said every BJP worker would work to counter such forces.

The remarks mark one of the BJP’s strongest public attacks on the CJP so far. The party has been holding protests in the national capital demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities and the NEET UG paper leak issue.

Later, while interacting with students at an engineering college near Hyderabad, Nabin said India’s Gen Z was not anti-establishment. He said the youth of India were contributing to nation-building and working for the country’s development.

Referring to youth protests in other countries, he said Indian youth should not be compared with such movements, as they remained committed to national progress.

During his Telangana visit, Nabin also targeted the Congress government led by Revanth Reddy. He alleged that the Congress had a history of failing to fulfill its promises.

Taking a swipe at the leader of the opposition Rahul Gandhi, Nabin called him a “part-time politician” and said BJP workers were “full-time politicians.”

The BJP leader’s comments are expected to further escalate the political row around the NEET UG paper leak controversy and the ongoing CJP protest at Jantar Mantar.
