“Only strong booths can carry the voice of North constituency to the assembly ” — Akshay Sharma
Amritsar: BJP leader Akshay Sharma from the North constituency organized organizational meetings in Ward No. 5 and Ward No. 10 as part of the “Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot” campaign. During these meetings, he interacted with party workers, local residents, and members of the business community. Detailed discussions were held on issues related to area development, safety of traders, youth participation, and strengthening the organization.
Addressing the gatherings, Akshay Sharma said that merely making speeches on platforms does not solve problems. Instead, a strong organization and an active booth-level team are essential to ensure that people’s voices reach the legislative Assembly. He added that even today, people are struggling for basic amenities like sewage systems, streets, and drainage, and emphasized the need to bring youth forward to put the North constituency on the path of development.
Reassuring the business community, he stated that those who create an atmosphere of fear and extortion among traders will not be tolerated at any cost. BJP stands firmly with traders to ensure their respect, safety, and business growth.
In Ward No. 10, the meeting was organized by Inder, where Pappu Mahajan, Vikrant Shauri, Gautam Raj, Karan Gill, Dr. Joginder Pal, Parmod Mahajan, and Jai Inder Jaggi, along with several other prominent individuals, were present.
In Ward No. 5, a meeting was organized by Sarabjit Kaur at Kamla Devi Avenue. Additionally, another meeting in the same ward was conducted by Vivek Vij, attended by Veeba Vij and other local residents.
During the meetings, locals raised various issues related to their area before Akshay Sharma, who assured them of prompt resolution.
He concluded by stating that the BJP’s aim is not just politics, but to connect with people, understand their problems, and accelerate development.
