MP Manish Tewari inaugurates PHDCCI 12th INS & OUTS Expo

Chandigarh, September 26: The 12th INS & OUTS Expo, organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), was inaugurated at Parade Ground, Sector 17, Chandigarh. The four-day exhibition, being held from September 25 to 28, showcases the latest developments in architecture, construction, real estate, interior design, technology and automation.
Member of Parliament from Chandigarh, Manish Tewari, attended the inaugural ceremony as the Chief Guest and formally inaugurated the exhibition with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The programme also included a tour of the exhibition, lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the National Anthem. H. S. Lucky, State President, Chandigarh, Indian National Congress, attended the event as the Guest of Honour.*
The inaugural session was held on the theme “Redefining Architecture Through Technology & Automation.” Naveen Seth, Deputy Secretary General, PHDCCI, delivered the opening remarks, while *Rajneesh Bansal, Chair, Chandigarh Chapter, PHDCCI, delivered the welcome address and highlighted the significance of the 12th INS & OUTS Expo. He said the exhibition brings together leading companies, architects, designers and industry professionals under one roof, providing a platform for innovation, collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Addressing the gathering, Manish Tewari highlighted Chandigarh’s global identity as “The City Beautiful” and described it as a notable example of modern urban planning and architecture. He said Chandigarh, designed by legendary architect Le Corbusier, reflects independent India’s vision of progress, modernity and planned development.
Tewari said Chandigarh would continue to evolve in the field of architecture while preserving the beauty and design principles envisioned by its creators. Referring to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, he said creativity today is increasingly being shaped by evolution, innovation, technology and new approaches to design. Guest of Honour H. S. Lucky appreciated PHDCCI’s efforts in organising the exhibition and bringing new ideas every year. He said that PHDCCI consistently comes up with innovative concepts and provides a platform where many companies can showcase their products and services under one roof.
He also congratulated all the winners and participants, stating that such recognition honours outstanding contributions, encourages the next generation, supports the preservation of heritage and helps create new benchmarks of excellence. Jagjit Singh Majha, President, CREDAI Punjab, also addressed the gathering and stressed the importance of organising more exhibitions of this nature across India. He said such platforms help showcase innovation, new ideas and emerging technologies, while emphasising the need to take these initiatives to the grassroots level and work consistently to create wider awareness and meaningful impact.
The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Suvrat Khanna, Co-Chair, Chandigarh Chapter, PHDCCI. The exhibition features professionals and experts from the architecture, engineering, construction, real estate and allied sectors. A key session focuses on “Latest Trends & Technologies in MEPF Industry”, with discussions on emerging technologies and developments shaping the sector. The session will be moderated by Dr. Atul Dutta and will feature experts including Ar. Sapna, Ar. Prabhjot Kaur, Er. Cecil Akhai, Ar. Swati Behl, Er. Mukul Grover and Er. Rajnish Vij. The exhibition will continue through September 28 and will provide a platform for industry professionals, architects, builders, developers and visitors to explore new products, technologies, design solutions and innovations across the built environment.
