Heavy rain is expected to continue across Himachal Pradesh, as the State Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow alert for 11 districts on Monday.
The districts under alert include Shimla, Kullu, Kangra, Solan, Mandi, Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Sirmaur, Chamba, and Lahaul and Spiti.
According to the weather department, these districts are likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall during the day.
The minimum temperatures across the state are expected to remain within the normal range.
Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 18°C, while Dharamshala recorded 20.1°C.
Manali recorded 14.1°C, Mandi 21.5°C, Solan 18.6°C, Kalpa 10°C, and Reckong Peo 13°C.
Bilaspur recorded a minimum temperature of 22.5°C, Hamirpur 21.5°C, Una 20°C, and Kangra 21.8°C.
Bhuntar recorded 18°C, Chamba 17.9°C, and Nahan 19.5°C.
Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti remained the coldest place in Himachal Pradesh, with a minimum temperature of 8.4°C.
Authorities have advised people to remain cautious, especially in landslide-prone and low-lying areas, during the ongoing rain spell.
